Can I just say…
If it couldn’t be Tiger Woods, I’m glad K.J. Choi won the AT&T National. He played a hell of a game - climbed to the top quickly and managed to stay there. And he apparently had a lot of praise for the Koreans who came out in droves to cheer him on.
Sunday’s round made for terrific TV - it really would be something if he became the first Asian to win a PGA major.

Sarge spent two days at the tournament and had a really good time. I’m not too sure he was rooting for, I just know it was *NOT* for Jim Furyck (sp?), I don’t know why, but he has something against him for some reason. I guess we would not consider Michael Campbell to be Asian. Not really right? he’s API, but just Pacific Islander.
Well poo, I can’t believe that I’m having a “conversation” about golf.
Anyway, thanks for visiting and leaving a comment! And that info on the Obon! I’m going to take a look at the site and see if it’s someting that we might be able to make it to. I probably wouldn’t mind the drive.

Paulette - nice to see you! If you’d like to talk, email me at xilerui [at] hotmail [dot] com
mDg - I’m so sorry it didn’t work out for Obon! Maybe next year - they do it every year, and it’s usually the same food. M. said that the Spam musubi left a bit to be desired (something about the teriyaki sauce not being quite right…), but that the rice and nori were good.
I also can’t believe that I talk about golf, at all. It’s my Dad’s influence - I just got to paying attention because he had it on all the freaking time. That’s so cool that Sarge made it to the tournament - it sounded like such a good time, but there was absolutely no way I was prepared to brave the parking to go. Maybe next year…
